Formations |
|
|
Any suggestions as to which formation works well? I know several people have been playing for a few seasons at least. I have observed that many people use 4-4-2. Any reason, suggestions, Pros and Cons?
Thank you |

I used 3-3-4, 3-5-2 & 4-4-2. No sense in worrying about formations until you get your team trained better. You won't know what formation is best until you know who does what best. Also, I change formations based on my competition and what I've trained recently. Example: If I'm playing Greekie who has great ball control, but is(was) slower, I might try a 4-4-2 or 3-5-2 to get a little more ball control. I put speed at the forward and defender postions. BUT none of my strategy works while the offsides is messed up, so..... |

Thanks CJ. I was hoping you would reply. I have been reading your posts and respect your opinions. I watched a few of your teams play and that is where I figure the 4-4-2 worked well.
I guess I should have known that train more would be the response. I guess I am just another anxious 3*.
Thanks again |

| I asked about this in the beta forum and got some good answers, you might look for it. I'm sticking with the 4 4 2 for now, mainly because I don't know any better! I also tried the 3 5 2. |

| 4-1-2-1-2 is the best or basically just 4-4-2 dimond style but i use 3-4-4 like Celtic (my team name) |

i use 4-3-3
Nothing's gonna matter till you've had the team for a few seasons.
But having a 3rd attacking option is always better than nothing at all.
Just make sure you have a quick defense with tackling ability.

| Thanks for your suggestions. 4-4-2 seems to be working great. I am finally a 4* and I am close to the top ten. |
