Bug or Ignorance ? |
|
|
I traind everyone but the keeper in running yesterday. Today I trained the keeper in running, and was going to put each player in goal. I have tried in zone, dedicated, and post mode.
Problem #1 -
To get the new player in goal, I had to edit their post. Every time I just dragged someone to goal they would run out and shoot.
Problem #2 -
I tried to use my keeper in the skill kick zone once his TP was gone. Each time I put him there, he kicks once and runs either to Rest, or back to the bench. I tried this in Sone, Posts, and Dedicated mode.
What am I doing wrong here ?
Thanks |

In order to change postions, you either have to edit posts, or the easiest way IMO is to change MODES to POST mode. Click on the guy you want to be keeper and drag him to where the current keeper is located. The should at that point switch postions. You actually have to place the guys you are swapping real close to eachother for them to change. Then, when you have people where you want them, you change to whatever training mode you want to use and they should go to their positions. The only time a guy will kick once and run off the field is if you are in ZONE mode and they are out of TP. All you have to do is take the guy that ran off the field and drag him to a "NON ZONE" area...like around the area above the run zone and he will run to his postion even if he's out of TP. Hope this helps. |

Changing post worked great. I guess I just wasn't getting the little guys close enought together.
The training part still doesnt work for me. After putting them in posistion, I tried 3 different modes with players out of TP and players with TP-
Zone Mode - Non TP player 1 kick then Rest zone
- TP Player worked Fine
Post Mode - No kick then back to post with or without TP
Dedicated Mode - 1 Kick then back to post with or without TP
I have yet to find a combination that will allow a not TP player to keep taking shots at goal so I can train the keepers without wasting the Shooters TP.
Still hunting !! |

Ok.....<deep breath> the players going to the rest zone when their TP is gone is by design (good or bad). I've mentioned many time that we should have a combination zone and dedicated type training where you can put people for example in the running zone and do dedicated training at the same time with others, or be able to put more than one player at a time in the dribble zone...BUT I DIGRESS!!
You should train your keeper (why you are training a keeper right now is beyond me) like this...dedicated mode....pop the ball up right in front of him and side to side to make him jump and catch the ball. Try to avoid the little dumbarses that are your defenders because they will be all in the middle of your training like a lab chasing a ball ! Anyways...use dedicated mode to train keeper in jumping and catching...be sure and not let him kick the ball after he catches it by popping another ball immediately. If you let him kick the ball, it will make him gain kick power, which dilutes your training you are focusing on. |

Why do guys do anything ? Because I couldn't make it work, so I had to keep messing with it. I had to sell an old boat in a box for the same reason |
