OK, I downloaded the Football installer.
I got a long slow download, Im on dialup.
It finished. I never saw that Football icon btw.
I have two baseball icons on my desktop.
Clicking the new icon, I got the baseball splashscreen.
So I go to subscribe, click football, then proceed to get another huge download of more soccer stuff.
What a pain on dialup.
I'm looking in the files,and I see what appears to be a Football splashscreen, but I'm still getting BB.
Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh!!!!!!!!!
As I was writing this I went back into baseball, clicked on it, and it started giving me another download. So I figure OK, the new season update for baseball. So I've downloaded about 1.5 megs,at dialup speed,
thinking I'm getting the new season, when this ten second timer thingy comes on saying server shutting down. I mean what the f*ck is going on?
Oh yeah, when I did get into football, after the second download, there still didn't appear to be anyway to sign up a new team. I clicked everything, but got the equivilent of not authorized or something like that.
On scale of 1 to 10, this has been about a -6, thats minus 6.

So now the server is down, and I don't know how screwed up everything is.

I still have nothing to show I have football on my desktop.
Even start/programs game me another BB setting.
Both icons give me the BB spash.
The football files are there, but something appears to be really wrong.
Guess I have to wait for the server to get back up, but geez this has been a big time waster so far.

Was there a 'football' pull down menu from the splash screen?
Thats how it worked in beta. As for all the different downloads, dunno whats going on there i just had one download when football was unlocked, the menu appeared and away i went. Of course it may have all changed for beta.

I did the subscribe to football and it did some downloads. When I restarted the smallball program, I had the football pulldown. But any of the choices I made gave the error, something to the effect of, "new team creation error."
