I'm working on the rules for the Offense League (OL). You would train all players in bat skills, running, and one pitcher trained in just pitch, not throw. This is to make players train more in power to get HRs.

Do not train in catch or throw!!!

What do you think? I would like teams that are 1* or 2* to join. Any takers?

What about the guy playing catcher if we have ST? can he train in catch?

I honestly don't think it'd work.

I think it would be better to have a league where you see how many homeruns people can hit (ie. game score doesn't matter but HR's do) (with everyone starting off as a new team). It has roughly the same principle but it means people can still train as they want.

I like the idead TNT, but how exactly would you enforce no training in defense? If they caught a ball, they're disqualified? Laughing

Well its impossable for tihs to work for St teams at least 2 players will gain throwing and catching that being the catcher and the pitcher. also i believe that even in DT pitchers gain throw.

also like said before it will be hard to inforce the rule the best thing you could do is like chris said and make it count Hrs.

i agree with chris on juss which teams have the most homeruns because the games would b like 2 and a half hours so i would say juss make it on the team with the most homeruns as a whole team not juss 1 person cause if it was a st team on 1 person then those bench people would have the most cause all they do is bat basically

I believe this type of league wold actually work.

If you have a ST team.. yeah your catcher will get some catch training.. but he is behind the plate in the game.. and I've never seen a catcher ever miss a pitch throw (not even on a 1 star team) so big deal there IMO.

Long games? no longer than the SBLL games would be I wouldn't think.. could actually be shorter in some cases.. since your pitcher could still account for alot of strike outs.

I would be very interested in joining this league if it ever happened.. as long as ST teams are allowed that is (as I don't have any unopened or 1* DT teams lol.

It may be a few weeks, due to the bomb class in NM, before I set it up. There is no issue with the Catcher and Pitcher gaining catch and throw skill in ST from basic training. I wanted to start with the pitcher not being given extra throw skill to force all the players to use more power at batting. If you use the bench in a rotation most players should almost stayed maxed. I will likely use different ballparks from season to season in UL 1220.

TNT, I have a team, with DT that was opened a long time ago. However, when I bought them, they haven't been trained for a long time, and right now are "1* Very Long Time Ago" However, to my understanding, the pitchers were found. I doubt this team has any skill left though. If you want to check them out, their ID is 15860...

In other words, we can't actually find out who our pitcher is.

We just have to guess and pick one at random as we can only train one pitcher.

Sorry about the League, but I'm having some problems with SmallBall. ST is not working, problems with login, DT issues, can not use UL controls, and can not play any games at all.
