I have been informed that pitchers can apparently throw for 122-130 mph.. and the reason my guy wasnt doing so was because I didnt have my guy maxed out in running.. well Ive had my pitcher maxed out in throwing pitching AND have given him lots of running training and he STILL isnt pitching any faster than 112 mph.. Before anyone says anything that 112 is what I want to have and that 112 is fine this isnt what this post is about.. this post is about me testing the ability of getting a pitcher to pitch faster than 112 mph..

The so called experts say the trick is pitching/throwing/running ...why is this not makeing ANY difference at all to my pitcher.. I dont get it.. I still feel that the max is 112 and that 130 is impossible but w/e I havent seen any proof and Im dieing to know how this 122-130 thing is done.. Ive done everything but hook this guy up with a cannon attatchment to his arm to throw faster and its not creeping past 112.

130 is impossible Oh yeah definitely impossible. I have a pitcher that is 114-117. I think the highest might be that but I also think if you train in throw more then you train in pitch you will throw faster.

The highest I've ever seen is 122 and that was A LONG time ago. Highest I've seen lately is 117.

that scouting report you gave me, Ruby, my pitcher, throws 110-112, and he's 10* in pitching and throwing. Getting a pitcher to throw 112+ is a rare if not freak thing. First, you have to find your true pitcher, if you havent done that, Then he wont throw hard/fast. In real life, pitchers do a thing called long toss, which strengthens your arm so you can throw a few miles faster, and it works too. But I dont think the same applies for smallball.

112+ is not rare. I have seen several teams, mine and one that I AT'ed, that have thrown over 112.

Every single team I have ever owned (including the ones today) I have gotten all their pitchers to pitch 112-118... 118 being my highest. 122 I saw in a picture a very long time ago, but there is no way to get higher than that. To get above 112 mph... is a trick, you use FPS, and being maxxed in throw helps. Running does nothing for your pitching.

Yes, the throwing skill does improve pitcher's velocity.

Right now on my 6* team that I'm bringing back from the dead, my pitcher was pitching 106 (maxed on pitching skill), not getting higher, I spent a whole pie on throwing and put him back at the pen and I was seeing 108. So apparently, until your pitcher maxes out, about a half pie of throwing skill can up his MPH by 1. Just from what I've seen though, not saying it's a solid fact.

I will agree it's been a while since I have seen it over 120, and a long time since I tried, but no way to go over 122? You are so wrong with that statement that I have to put you in soi's class.
