I understand you feelings about this but sadly we don't have a say in whether or not the forums and games die. It's unfortunate, but the power is all with the Commish. It doesn't look good for us but ...

How about playing next Novembers OSU/Mich at a neutral site? Sounds good to me. I'm getting sick of the neutral site talk. Every other year your team has to play on the other teams home field. Deal wi ...

I thought the Commish was the only Forum Admin
He is now. He wasn't before GW resigned.

So basically, no admin now. Rolling Eyes

Trying to keep his parents out of where he has been?

Ohioans are not afraid of Michigan. we are 5-1 against them the last 6 years or have you forgotten that fact?
It's only the losers who always want a rematch. Ok, say they do play again in the Nationa ...

I would say as far as Buckeye fans are concerned, Troy Smith has earned legendary status amoung the great players that have played at Ohio State. I believe he became only the second QB at OSU to beat ...

Even though I am a Buckeye fan this news was hard to take. I always like him as a person. Hated him as the coach of Michigan because he was too hard to beat. It made me sad to hear about his death. I ...

What happens on that date ?

I'm a lot more pumped about Dec. 22nd, 2006

Just remember what they say about a fool as his money. LOL

Before the soccer outage back in August, I did manage to get one team to stick on the 9* list for a couple days straight. After it got up and running I haven't been able to reach it and stick. Here's ...

GW, no matter if these forums still exist or not, I will be using your new site. Loyalty plays a big part of how I judge people. You have been loyal to us when the commish and his group of bandits hav ...

Sounds like a Wild West town with no sheriff. A forum with no leadership to control things would have to be real ugly. Maybe the forum should be renamed to Flame City.

Windows ME was probably one of the worst operating systems MicroSoft ever came out with after Windows 3.1
I would try to upgrade it to Windows 98 SE if I were you. You can find that fairly cheap onli ...

From what I've read, and someone can correct me if I have this wrong, the owner of the domain name has up 75 days after the expiration date to reclaim it.

Read through this thread to see how other people filed disputes through paypal.

Sounds good Tim. Can you pass any tips on to the rest of us poor hacks?
With my current training schedule I hover somewhere near the top of the 8* list and everytime I try to make a push into the 9*' ...

Congratulations on the P/L 1 championship.

While I agree that a 9* team should play better than a 8*, it will take a change in TheFly's training schedule to reach 9*. While he can reach 9* it might not translate into more wins. I hung in P/L 1 ...

I haven't had any problems running soccer so I can't offer too much advice. Try updating Java and Directx.
Which operating system are you using ?

If your team is kicking butt, just keep doing what you're doing.
A lot of times you will find your team doesn't play as well as a 9* as
they did as an 8*. I have to go along with BigDog though, rota ...

Diggler, you are right. Anybody that quits is doing so prematurely. I think this game has a great chance of surviving the loss of the forums. A good enough chance for me to stick with it until the ...

No big deal. It's just what being part of the SmallBall family is all about. Who knows, maybe it(SmallBall) will keep running for a long time, only the Commish knows at this point.

That is really strange. It must have been renewed yesterday after I checked this.
I see smallball.org still expires Oct. 22,2006

Ok, guys, check your p/m's.
I decided to go ahead and unload three teams, one for each of you.
Just a little reminder, don't forget they each have pro league games to be played.

I'll get back to you guys when I get home from work. No time right now. Very Happy

There is an article on USAToday's web site.

Lerb, seek help.
It seems to me your mind is in a dark, twisted place.

I can't wait to see what the Wiz(GW) has up his sleeve. I will continue to visit SBD. I pop in there whenever I can to see what's new.

Buying tickets is a real crapshoot. Some people get them, some don't.
Feel like blowing some money ? It's like going to a casino. Very Happy

If you know the password but don't know the team name or ID number, pergaps you can go through old emails of games played to find them.

I know exactly what you mean Beaner. I've been disgruntled with the management of SmallBall for quite a while now. Back a few years ago when we went through this voting idea I did vote but I'm not was ...

Glad to hear you guys are getting your money back. It's a shame it had to come down to filing claims though.

I have barley read anything in this thread, but it keeps going and going. Can we please shut it up or something?
