Veterans Subject description: Thanks |
|
|
I would like to say thank to all of the Veterans out there in SB land. I too am one. I appreciate all of the sacrafice and time you dedicated and possibly are still dedicating to our great nation.
I request a moment of silence from all who read this. Today is a day to Remember those who have defended and served us well. Lets stand behind them. If you support the current War or not. ALWAYS remember. A Soldier follows orders, even if he/she doesnt agree with them. _________________ "The desire to be a champion is not nearly as persuasive as the commitment to be a champion" |

Perfect post!
Thanks to all veterans everywhere.
These guys have gone out, and took all sorts of pure hell for the freedom we celebrate each and every day, and for that I am thankful. _________________ http://sbdevils.com/forum/ and http://smallball.info The only forums you'll ever need. |

To bigdog and all the rest... Thank you.
My father is a veteran of the first Gulf War. My brother-in-law and father-in-law are both veterans as well. Now my other brother-in-law is serving in Kuwait for the next 8 months. Your sacrifices and those of your families are appreciated.
You all are truly men and women of honor, worthy of respect. _________________ MidgMen

I don't think any of us can thank you all enough.
I found this attached to an email sent to me yesterday:
In case we find ourselves starting to believe all the anti-American
sentiment and negativity, we should remember England's Prime
Minister Tony Blair's words during a recent interview. When asked by
one of his Parliament members why he believes so much in America, he
said:
"A simple way to take measure of a country is to look at how many
want in... And how many want out." Only two defining forces have
ever offered to die for you:
1. Jesus Christ
2. The American G. I.
One died for your soul, the other for your freedom. _________________ SB Devils |
