Can there be draws in the 4th round? I just saw that each team plays once instead of twice in previous rounds, so I'm guessing they go straight to PKs (For FA Cup).

the FA cup is always a sudden death game. teams never play twice unless the first game ends in a draw. then and only then do they play a second game which is called a "replay", meaning they both start from 0 again. all the games listed are sudden death but it is possible some will end in a draw ... like the newcastle game, and then souness will be sacked. Shocked

i had to take a second look but i wasn't imagining it, not one person predicted a draw in any of the games listed! Shocked Shocked

you may want to edit the post as this is actually two seperate games;
coventry v middlesboro
reading v birmingham

i will assume the score should read 1-3 since you chose madrid as the winner

simon wrote:

same goes for your pick simon, i'm assuming you mean 1-3 as madrid is the winner.

So how did this go?

I know for a fact I didn't do too hot, only got 2 games with the correct score, and messed up La Liga pretty badly. Didn't do too terrible on the Cup.

my bad ... i'm a little behind schedule what with having to hire four people yesterday.

i have to update and proof the results so this is not official yet ... but it looks very much like bluehawk is the winner. i'll confirm later once i get a chance to look over the spreadsheet.

Oh, that's right - the FA Cup will replay those original games... how is that factored? (I picked on the basis that there weren't any ties in the Cup rounds).

only the weekend results are counted. as i mentioned in an earlier post; "it is possible some will end in a draw".

That's too funny, since all of his scores were 2-1!

i laughed when i saw the post at first but hey, i guess it has to work some time. i just hope he doesn't get the wrong idea and answer "C" for every question on his SAT's or whatever it is these days.

i will confirm the results later today. for those that don't win, stay tuned because there will be more tickets giveaways like this in the coming months.
