Is there an actual sport involved with this post or is it just some kind of "my kid is better than your kid pageant"?
TSN?? Isnt that "The Shopping Network"? Is this a shopping competition. USA kids would win hands down.
I'll pick USA to dominate and defeat Canada. _________________ "Oderint dum metuant" |

Actually that goalie is the current starting goalie for the Pittsburg Penguins.
He was on loan for the tourney. _________________ 11 time PL1 Champion |

He may be a little gun-shy at shots that come in around the mid-section. |

Thanks.
What a crappy way to win, but they deserve full marks for coming back from a 3-1 deficit in the 3rd. It was a great tourney. to the USA. _________________ "I can resist anything except temptation" - Oscar Wilde |

This was a good tourny for both teams, Congrats for Team USA.
I have been watching this tourny for the past 15 years, I have never seen a goal like that in any hockey game[finals at least]
I feel real sorry for Fleury, After being dropped by the Pengiuns for salary reasons then letting a goal like that in..........What a kick in the @#*#.
I am just wondering how team USA has Praise[sp?], Does he have dual citizienship? He played pretty good.
A bounus for me was too watch Crosby, This kid is amazing, who ever drafts him will be lucky. With the right grooming he will be great.

His uncles are Gary and John Suter. I actually ahd a class with him last semester, although I never did work up th ecourage to go over and ask him for his autograph.
Oh well, he (along with the several other US Junior Team members (including UW-Madison Coach Mike Eaves) and the other players from UW Madison are doing great for us so far. |

Awesome. I'll watch for him in the draft. Gary Suter was one of the players I hated most when I was growing up and therefore a great player. _________________ "I can resist anything except temptation" - Oscar Wilde |

I guess you've found me out ... As long as I can get some of his signing bonus, it'd all be worth it. |

Ryan Suter was drafted. Last year, 1st round. Not too sure, but I think it was to Nashville. As a Calgarian, I know all about his uncle Gary. One of our great players during the 80's/90's. Ryan Suter has big shoes to fill if he wants to be like his uncle.
It was sad that Canada loss. We had a young team that needed their goalie to win it for them. To give up three goals in the final period shows the inexperience in the Canadian squad.
Fleury will rebound from that. He won't be another Salo headcase. It might take some time, but Fleury will be a premier goalie, although it won't be in a Penguins uniform. When the Penguins get relocated to Winnipeg all will be well again. |

Ok, looked it up. Nashville it was.

I don't think it will take much time at all. I've watched him play a couple times and he's really quite sound. And mature. Thats why I think he'll do fine, and quickly.

What a tournament, I didn't miss one second of action and I don't regret it! Look of for Deion Phaneuf to be a big time player in the NHL if that ever comes back. |
