OK.. all the talk in my Christmas traditions thread about cinnamon rolls got me wondering something else.. lol

My wife and I are taking a trip this Christmas and spending a few days with her family.. and I am planning on cooking something to take for Christmas dinner.

That leaves the question to ask, "what should I make?"

I already plan on making Asparagus Casserole, but would also like to make a few other things (since I love cooking!)

So, I thought maybe I'd open it up for discussion and maybe see some of everyone else's favorite Holiday time treats..

I know this one won't sound exotic or special, but we always try to make macaroni salad. 32 oz. box of elbow macaroni, 6 hard boiled eggs, 1 stalk of celery, 8 oz. grated sharp cheddar cheese, 32 oz. Miracle Whip and 2 cans of tuna. Mix it together and spice to taste.

It really doesn't take long to put it all together, but it always seems to satisfy everyone who tries it.

We make ham, brownies, cakes, and a kind of arabic cookies that represent moutains of snow because they have powdered sugar on them
