I never understood the whole fascination with autographs. Why would someone pay thousands of dollars for someone's signature? People are insane. _________________

Celebration of aging and maturity. I think the mother should get a party whenever her kid's birthday comes around. She did more work. _________________ No one cares about smallball.... |

In the USA, we call that Mother's Day. It is on the 2nd Monday of May. _________________ Quote of the Week:

Celebration of aging and maturity, sure...but why not along developmental milestones?
You poop your pants for the first time, you get a cake; you walk or say your first words, you get a cake; you get in your first fist-fight, you get a cake; you get your first job, you get a cake; get laid the first time, you get a cake; you retire, you get a cake; you poop your pants for the last time, you get a cake.
That would be a MUCH more rational system, IMO. _________________ "I can resist anything except temptation" - Oscar Wilde |

It would soften the blow a bit, wouldn't it? I'll think it over and possibly include it in my upcoming proposal to the UN... _________________ "I can resist anything except temptation" - Oscar Wilde |

You got me there. Also Birthdays are for just a day that you can be and feel awesome. You need that every now and then. I would say about once a year would do it. _________________ No one cares about smallball.... |
