Sounds good but Michael Jordan is my dad I could probably pull a few strings and get him to sign it for you.

I never understood the whole fascination with autographs. Why would someone pay thousands of dollars for someone's signature? People are insane.

Celebration of aging and maturity. I think the mother should get a party whenever her kid's birthday comes around. She did more work.

In the USA, we call that Mother's Day. It is on the 2nd Monday of May.

Celebration of aging and maturity.

Celebration of aging and maturity, sure...but why not along developmental milestones?

You poop your pants for the first time, you get a cake; you walk or say your first words, you get a cake; you get in your first fist-fight, you get a cake; you get your first job, you get a cake; get laid the first time, you get a cake; you retire, you get a cake; you poop your pants for the last time, you get a cake.

That would be a MUCH more rational system, IMO. Surprised

It would soften the blow a bit, wouldn't it? I'll think it over and possibly include it in my upcoming proposal to the UN...

You got me there. Also Birthdays are for just a day that you can be and feel awesome. You need that every now and then. I would say about once a year would do it.
