Good idea Oaf. All the countries are taken, but a lot of dead teams. I was thinking KN, St Kitts and Nevis. I think this is one thing I have to do, I don't think ATs can join a country.

Nope, ATs can not join countries.

However, there are 82 countries that do not have any teams in them. Whenever you open 'select country' from the trainer the list appears in numerical order [the countries with the most teams are at the top] -- If you look at the countries page, you'll notice that the last country listed is Tonga [TO] -- so if you go back to your trainer client, you'll notice that there are 82 teams after Tonga [TO]... all of those countries do not have any teams in them.

Just to make sure that there is no one in those countries you can do this:

Take this link: http://www.smallball.com/goal/leagues/world/US.shtml

Now, when deciding on a country simply look at it's abbreviation [example, Pitcairn = PN] ... substitute PN with US and see if there is a page for it yet...

http://www.smallball.com/goal/leagues/world/PN.shtml

You'll notice it says [an error occurred while processing this directive] -- That means that the country is open and ready for teams!

I started the ULs, everyone but 2 players are in, one team quit and one is on vacation so it worked out well. Two weeks? More if we need it then the top 5 teams from each UL play off for the prize

Our ULs will be closed at the end of this season, next Sun night, the usual end of season. I will not force games so play your games this week if you want to advance.

I'm going to be writing the people who don't seem to be training, maybe we can free up some teams for others to take on. Good luck everyone.

Its time to start the final UL for the QT tickets, so if everyone can join 1013 and 1014 PW CCD it'll make it easier for me to set it up. Please join both and I'll edit it down to the proper teams. Some of you are in one or the other already so you may get an error message when you try to join, don't worry.

Cliff, It says I'm already a member of 1013 and when I try to join 1014 it says PW denied. What to do?

ok, the top 10 teams are in 1013 and the PW has changed, games are scheduled.. There's no prize for 1014, should I start it too? I can open it up to the 1st 10 teams that sign up.

Good work, people!

When you get to a high enough level, be sure to check out some of the great leagues out there. Specifically Tim's Italian league, Barbarian's stable of leagues (Irish, Scottish, USL, MISL) and (if it's still going on) the SCL.

These are a lot of fun!

Is it bad that I'm only three star but have maxed most players in goalie skill and reaction? Hope it helped.

Anywho, here's to the stragglers!!!

Everyone who want to play next season join UL 1014 PW CCD. Open to anyone but my AT teams get priority. If I get more than 10 I'll move teams to the other UL. No prize right now.

Also, someone remind me to force the remaining games tomorrow night. Razz

I opened 1013 and 1014 ULs, no prize, just for fun. I'll come up with a prize tourney soon with a star limit, so I'll wait a bit.

I kept one team that someone gave up on, 282666. I trained keeping as long as I could stand it, then did everything else for about two weeks. Today I trained in keeping again and Tucker maxed in keeping, running and reaction He's my #1 player overall, in keeping, running, reaction and interception before and after training today. I was impressed. And yes, I did have a cat named Sister Mary Elephant. Shocked

Sounds like a Country music song.

Actually its an old Cheech and Chong routine, ("Claaaass, claaaaaass!!) That was Sister Mary Elephant in their Catholic school. From up in Smoke I think. She was our first cats "sister" and we got to calling her sister, she was very heavy footed and the moniker Sister Mary Elephant soon followed. Unfortunately she did die tragically in 1975 before she was a year old. We think she was eaten by a Grue.
